DR. Angela M. Lamptey
She is a Reviewer for a number of International Peer-Reviewed Journals and has eight (8) publications in top peer-reviewed journals. Currently, her research areas include; Ecology of aquatic biotopes, Food and feeding habits of some selected marine and fresh water fishes, Water quality assessment of coastal lagoons in Ghana, Seabirds Ecotoxicological studies and child labour in the fishing industry. She is affiliated to Ghana Science Association, Society for Conservation Biology (SCB) and Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). She is a Fisheries and Ornithology Consultant to two NGOs namely, Centre for Maritime Law and Security and Environmental Solutions Ltd. She was recently nominated as an Independent Expert of the Adhoc Experts Group drafting the annexes for the finalization of the Lomé Maritime Charter. She is one of the Quiz Mistresses for the National Science and Maths Quiz, a motivational speaker to various youth groups and a Career Guidance Advisor to young ladies in Second Cycle Schools. She has passion for human rights issues.
